~ Birthday Party ~ Zebra Print and Hot Pink DIVA SPA Party

I finally get to show you the pictures of the party I styled last month for my friend's daughter birthday.  Ariana, the birthday girl, invited a few friends over her house for a SPA party to celebrate her 11th birthday.

She wanted the decor to be Hot Pink and Zebra Print.  We used the Zebra Print Party supplies from Birthday Express.

My friend ordered the Cake from a local bakery and I made the cupcakes and cupcake toppers. I used my flourish punch to made the toppers.

The Super Talented Cathy from The Cake Bomb made the cute and delicious 'Nail Polish' Cake Pops.

I also designed the Water Bottle labels to go with the theme.

The girls got their Facial and Nails done, chat and cheer with champagne {...Just Sprite} in Hot Pink Martini Glasses.

The complete Diva Spa Printable Collectionis now in the Shop.

                                                               THE FOOD TABLE...

This is the other side of the room. We decorated all the room with balloons. I specially loved the balloon wall that my mom made as a background for the food table. The shinny table skirt and all the Sock Hop 50's Party Supplies  { Plates, cups, napkins...} are from  Birthday Express

I had so much fun planning the food table: Hamburgers, mini hot-dogs, fries, pizza, chicken nuggets..Just food that is usually served at a dinner...I also had fruits, strawberry dip {this is one is always a hit...recipe coming soon}, jello cups...

I was so excited when I found the vintage Coca-Cola glass bottles in my local supermarket and I used them as part of the decor as well.

I made Water Bottle Labels and Straw tags using the printable designs from my shop.

In the picture above birthday girl's Lil sister! I went to Johnny Rockets and they were so nice and gave me a few their hats for the kids to wear.

 THE PARTY FAVORS...

I came across with the pretty bags at Michaels and they matched perfectly with the Sock Hop 50's Party Supplies  and I filled them with girly stuff for favors: Hair bands, hair clips, lipsticks...

PINATA AND WELCOME SIGN...

I also made a Pinata and a Welcome Sign in the shape Jukeboxes.

We had disco lights and music from the 50's and the girls had a blast dancing with Tiffany from BounceDJ   She was Excellent!

~ Birthday Party ~ 50's Diner Sock Hop Party Part 1

Happy Friday! I am working on posting all the details of all the parties I did last month.

May was a busy month. First I had my daughter's 3rd Under The Sea Birthday party, then my oldest daughter birthday party, then a few customer parties: Ariana's 11th diva Party, Nicole's 8th Paris inspired party and Emily's 5th Princess party

Today I am going to start with my daughter's 8th Birthday Bash!  Again lots of pictures so I had to divide the post in 2 parts...

Julianna's favourite restaurant is Johnny Rockets and when I saw the Sock Hop 50's party supplies, I thought it was the perfect theme for her 8th birthday party and she loved the idea! From there we went all out with the 50's theme.

THE INVITATIONS...

These were the invites I made for her party! It was held at our home or 'Julianna Rockets' Diner for that day...

THE DECOR...

I had so much fun planning all the decor for this party: Jukeboxes, Cadillac, Records, musical note, Poodle skirt and milkshakes everywhere. We decorated with lots of balloons in Black, white, pink and teal.

I had a hand painted mural for the Sweet table background.

THE SWEET TABLE...
The cupcakes were like little milkshakes, a gum ball for a cherry and I cut some waffer cookies as straws.  The Cake Pops are from Cathy from The Cake Bomb.

I covered the cake with small fondant/gum paste black squares to recreate a 50's diner floor and I tried to make the sugar doll to look like my daughter with the brown hair and the big eyes...I wanted to share with you a little trick about the candles...I got the number 8 and the stars candles but the colors really didn't match the decor, so I painted them with regular craft paint and sprinkled glitter on them right away before the paint dried.

Cathy also made these pretty milkshake pops.

My daughter and her friends!

I hope you enjoy these pictures!
